The Air We Breathe Can Affect
Comfort And Productivity
We can’t do much about the air pollution outside, but we can do something about air pollution in our home from our furnace and air conditioning systems. Furnaces supply most of the air inside our homes , where we spend 90% of our time. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), indoor air pollution levels can be 25 times, and occasionally more than 100 times polluted than outdoor air .Proper furnace parts such as air filtration from high efficiency furnace air filters and hepa filters clean the air so we can breathe easier. We carry air conditioning filters and furnace filters across Canada. If you do not see your filterslisted in our Furnace filter section feel free to call filterscanada.ca for an estimate for a replacement filter for your furnace filter, Hepa, purifier or Air conditioning filter.
In our well insulated homes and buildings in Canada, we lock in bad air from furnaces and air handlers, such as pollen, mold, fungi, bacteria, viruses, dust and mites. We even add to the problem by contributing particles such as tobacco, wood or cooking smoke, pet dander, insecticides, toxins emitted from air fresheners, carpets, glues, household air cleaners, paints, varnishes, press board furniture and lots more. In fact we breathe in about 50,000 of these pollution particles with every breath, and we take 20,000 breaths a day! Air cleaners and humidifiers and furnace parts of heating systems can help elevate some of these air cleaningproblems. Furnace Air filters and Hepas and hepa air cleaners work well for homes with family members who have allergies. Every filter or replacement media air filters are usually OEM. If we do not have yourair filter media or furnace filter or A C filtration media, we can usually order the filter you require within 24 hours.
Up flow Furnace (air moving upward) Filter is located in the blower compartment bottom door adjacent to the cold air return. You have to remove both the top door and then the bottom door. Make sure that when you re-install the bottom door, it goes over the furnace frame so that it engages the safety switch. If not the furnace will not run.
Down flow Furnace. air moving in downward direction Filter is located in the upper blower compartment. Most furnaces will have a V shape filter system, the system will take 2 filters. The filters go up into the plenum in a V shape. Make sure that when you re-install the top door, it goes over the furnace frame so it close the safety switch. If not the furnace will not come on.
Horizontal Furnace. Most Horizontal Furnaces will have a slide in Furnace rack, built directly into the furnace.
Air Handlers. Most Air Handlers will have a built in filter rack in the unit. Note most Air Handles will have central returns, which have built in filter grills to accommodate your filter.. Check to see that you do not have a filter in the Air Handle and the filter grill. This will cause you reduced air flow and higher bills.
We carry all Electro Air Five Seasons filters, including these popular models:
M1-1056; M0-1056; M2-1056; M8-1056
